Freeplay WORKSHOPS TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

 

CONFIDENTIALITY:

The information you disclose is confidential and will not be shared without your permission except in certain exceptional situations. These include:

- If you pose a risk of serious harm to yourself or others.

- If you are in significant danger from others.

Should these situations arise, we will do our best to inform you of any action we need to take.

In cases where emergency action is required, we reserve the right to contact the appropriate services without consulting you first. .

 

HEALTH AND SAFETY:

You will be expected to follow all Health and Safety procedures. These will be clarified at the start of the workshops.

 

NB.PRIOR TO ATTENDING WORKSHOP:

The workshops are available to members of the general public (participants will need to book and pay in advance). Workshops will take place in public spaces within the local community. You will be expected to make your own arrangements to enable you to attend and to give good notice if you cancel as we cannot refund the fees. We may be able to offer you another workshop date where spaces are available at the time of cancellation. You will be expected to take responsibility for your personal welfare and conduct as would any member of the public when attending a public venue in the local community.

 

The workshops are for adults only (18 upwards). Any vulnerable adult needing care and support will be expected to bring a carer with them. The carer’s place will be free of charge. Please contact us prior to booking to discuss details.

 

Please do not use alcohol or drugs (except prescribed medication) prior to and during the workshop. We have the right to refuse entry / ask you to leave if you attend in an unfit state or due to unacceptable behaviour.

 

Workshops will include a short walk near the venue itself (as far as possible…on level ground) please ensure you have the appropriate footwear, clothing and relevant support to enable you to do this comfortably and safely. Alternative arrangements may be made, to replace the short walk, depending on weather conditions on that day.

 

CANCELLATION OF WORKSHOP:

If for any unforeseen / urgent reasons we need to cancel a workshop, we will inform you as soon as possible and you will be offered a place on another workshop or receive a full refund.

 

PERSONAL BELONGINGS:

The organisers and venue cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to your belongings.

 

STANDARDS:

The workshop facilitators are qualified and experienced well-being practitioners, registered as social workers with the Health and Care Professions Council (hcpc www.checktheregister.org). They follow the standards of conduct, performance and ethics of the hcpc. If you have any queries or concerns about their practice and meeting the standards, please contact the hcpc.
